Winter Vegetable share includes 5 - 8 vegetable items per week for 8 weeks starting Thursday, January 24 with the last delivery on Thursday, March 14, 2013.  Through the cold, dark days of January and February LFFC farmers are still working hard to harvest many root vegetables and other hearty veggies.  As we move in to March and April micro-greens and other early spring veggies will begin to show up in the shares.  This is a great way to keep organic, locally grown vegetables in your diet throughout winter.

Please note that a $25 convenience fee will be included in your purchase. This will cover cost associated with hosting the CSA.  Additional funds will go to the Parent Association, which provides school-wide programming for Friends Select Parents such as the upcoming MLK Day of service on January 21, 2013 in partnership with Andrew Jackson School (1213 S. 12th Street).
