UPDATE: SEEING 2020
One canceled event, 12 months of planning, 23 sponsors, 379 auction items, 1,964 bids, and extraordinary support from the Friends Select community. Thank you to everyone for making the Parent Association Auction Seeing 2020 a huge success despite having to cancel the event!
Auction co-chairs Sue Green P’22, ’23 and Ashley Dickinson P’31 led a dedicated group of parent and teacher volunteers who worked tirelessly to support the school. Up until the final hours on Friday evening, parents, teachers, staff, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni—the entire FSS community—were bidding and encouraging their friends and relatives to support our school. Thanks to their commitment, the auction received support and contributions totaling more than $100,000.
And, although we were suddenly unable to gather with our community to celebrate FSS in person, your continued support is a powerful reminder that we are all in this together and we are celebrating virtually. Our students, teachers, and staff appreciate your phenomenal support and we share their gratitude.
Thank you.

Why Celebrate Friends Select
FSS families will agree the beating heart of our city is Friends Select School. For us it is where our children spend the better part of their week growing brighter, stronger, and more inquisitive. Their growth is proved daily at home, in the classrooms, on the sports fields, and stage. We are constantly impressed by the community of teachers, coaches, and students. Through this event we hope to raise $110K for Friends Select School, 22% of the Friends Select Fund goal. This money will support teacher salaries, library books, lab equipment, sports uniforms, computers, art supplies, musical instruments, costumes and more-- it will support our children in every way imaginable.
